Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency said it had received 11 bids for supervision of the reconstruction of a section of the motorway linking the Sofia ring road to Kalotina, the border checkpoint with Serbia.
All bids were filed by consortia and the relevant companies are from Bulgaria, France, Greece, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands, the agency said.
Earlier this month, ten bidders filed offers for the reconstruction of the 31.5 kilometre section. The project has an indicative cost of 200 million levs ($131.2 million/102.3 million euro), net of Value Added Tax. The works, co-financed under the EU-funded operational programme Transport and the state budget, have to be completed in 21 to 25 months.
