Electricity Prices To Remain Unchanged until Sept 1, Regulator Head Says

Electricity bills in Bulgaria will remain unchanged until September 1, the chair of the country’s energy regulator projected.
The planned legal amendments which aim to ease the price burden on the end-clientby revising the price formation formula, may enter into force in October, depending on the pace at which parliament works, Evgenia Haritonova, chair of the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, said.
Currently, power prices are revised once a year – in the beginning of July.
