This was announced by the Chair of the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (DKEVR) Svetla Todorova in an interview for private bTV station.
In October, prices went up 9.5 to 9.9 percent depending on which company provides electricity distribution services.
Todorova said that increases in the price of electricity were not the only means through which to bring stability and normality to the energy sector.
The Chair of DKEVR stated that price hikes will be introduced only after reforms have proved to be unsuccessful.
According to Todorova, the prices have been decreased several times, which happened despite the fact that expenses could not be limited.
