Dragasakis Appointed as New Economy Minister in Mini Cabinet Reshuffle

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Wednesday carried out a mini cabinet reshuffle following the resignations of Dimitris Papadimitriou and Rania Antonopoulou, with just six ministers either joining the government or changing their portfolio. Minister of State and government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos announced the appointment of Yiannis Dragasakis as Greece's new economy and development minister, in place of Papadimitriou, and the replacement of Yiannis Mouzalas with Dimitris Vitsas as head of the migration policy ministry. Apart from SYRIZA MP Meropi Tzoufi, the four new additions to the cabinet are not members of parliament.
