A direct international train connecting Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary may be launched on December 14, Bulgarian media reported on Monday, quoting the country's transport minister.
The parties involved are negotiating a train that will connect Sofia and Vidin in Bulgaria, to Craiova and Timisoara in Romania, to the Hungarian capital Budapest, daily newspaper 24 Chasa quoted Danail Papazov as saying in an interview.
The train will be composed mostly by Bulgarian wagons and will restore Bulgaria’s connection with Central and Western Europe, Papazov added.
