Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva will Attend the 72nd Session of the UN General Assembly
Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva heads for the United States for the period from 18 September to 25 September 2017. This was reported by the Foreign Ministry press office.
She is part of the official Bulgarian delegation, led by President Rumen Radev, who will take part in the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly. The session, which takes place in New York, begins on September 14, 2017, and the High Level General Debate will be officially opened on September 19.
Within the framework of the session, from 18 to 22 September, the Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister will participate in a number of multilateral formats, which will discuss a wide range of issues related to international peace and security, countering and preventing terrorism and violent extremism, trafficking in human beings.
