Defense Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos received visiting Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fenghe on Monday, in the context of the latter's official visit to Greece.
In the presence of Greek military chiefs, the two counterparts discussed collaborations in the defense sector while Panagiotopoulos briefed Fenghe on the latest security issues in the Eastern Mediterranean; the Chinese minister reportedly said that no solution is feasible by threats or use of violence, but by establishing good neighborliness.
As Greece and China both come from ancient civilizations, it is important to further their exchange in matters of the economy, of culture and also in tourism, said the Greek minister.
