The interest of foreign investors to the Bulgarian real estate market is getting back and the number of deals, aiming at profit at the expense of the final usage is on the rise. For a first time since 2012 we have 85% of deals with real estate properties, generating income versus 15% of speculative ones. The total value of all investment deals comes up to a bit over 117 million euros for the first 6 months. By the end of the year the investment volume is expected to outrun the 2015 one. Three major purchases form 65% of the overall volume – of Sofia Airport Center, Mall Plovdiv and Retail Park Plovdiv. 59% of the buyers are international companies.
