Consumer Prices Drop 1.3% y/y in August

Consumer prices in Greece dropped 1.3% year-on-year in August after a decrease by 0.7% a month earlier, Reuters reported quoting official figures.
August's rate fell below a forecast of minus 0.9%, Greek statistical data indicated.
The EU-harmonised inflation reading slowed to minus 1.0% from minus 0.5% in the previous month.
Annual inflation in the eurozone in August is estimated to have slowed to 1.3%.
