Chinese Companies Active in Greece Present Their Plans in Meeting with Dep. Economy Minister

Chinese companies that have invested in Greece had the opportunity to present their activities, their plans for the future and ask specific questions concerning their current and future activities during a meeting between their representatives and the Deputy Economy Minister Stergios Pitsiorlas on Monday.
Pitsiorlas said the recent investments by COSCO in Piraeus and the importance of the port in the marine Silk Route will lead to a new round of investments in the economy, cruise, light manufacturing, ship repairing, international distribution and transport and tourism.
He also said the ministry aims to create a permanent communication platform to connect Greek authorities with the Chinese companies already active in the country to facilitate their operation and support new investment initiatives.
