Celebration of the National Day of Greece


On the 25th of March at the Royal Hall of Sheraton Sofia Hotel Balkan took place the traditional reception of the Embassy of Greece in Sofia on the occasion of the National Day of Greece. More than 1500 distinguished, guests, Ambassadors, Ministers, businessmen attended the event. For the 3rd consecutive year the event was supported by the Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria.

"The very historical fact of the Greek Revolution is a bright and eternal example of what can peoples do when they are united, when they fight in agreement and unity and are fully committed to their cause. This is a sacred covenant and lasting source of inspiration in order to overcome the difficulties the  current difficult situation. Source of inspiration not only for today's Greeks, Bulgarians but also any other nation in the world which is destined to face the challenges of historical dimensions", marked in his welcoming speech the Ambassador of Greece to Bulgaria, H.E.Thrasyvoulos Stamatopoulos.
