Bulgaria's caretaker prime minister Marin Raykov and his Greek counterpart Antonis Samaras conferred over the phone on Friday, the Bulgarian government's press office said.
Among the issues the two prime ministers discussed were recent problems with the passage of Bulgarian vehicles through the Zlatograd-Xanthi border crossing, especially in the light of the forthcoming Easter holidays and expectations for increased tourist flow, the Bulgarian government's press office said. The Greek prime minister pledged to look into the issue and offer a solution as soon as possible.
The two prime ministers also exchanged information on the progress of construction works on the Makaza-Nymphaea crossing point, and Samaras assured his Bulgarian counterpart that the road connecting the crossing point with Komotini will be ready within the next three months.
