Caretaker prime minister Marin Raykov told European Council president Herman Van Rompuy that he expects European Commission experts to assist Bulgaria in a comprehensive international check of its energy sector.
A team of European Commission experts are expected in Sofia next week to join an overhaul of the Bulgarian energy sector and help with expertise, including as regards the best EU practices in energy regulation, the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) reported.
The EU experts will also help Bulgaria comply with the Third Energy Package requirements.
