The Cabinet will discuss amendments to the Protection of Competition Act envisaging the introduction of maximum contractual time-limits for payment of deliveries, the state-run Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) said.
The amendments will also affect the authority vested in the Commission for the Protection of Competition in relation to unfair practices and abuse of dominant position, it emerged at a meeting on Monday between prime minister Boiko Borisov, economy minister Traicho Traikov and representatives of the Made in Bulgaria union.
The participants in the meeting discussed ways to support local small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the regulation of relations between all subjects on the market including producers, suppliers, traders and clients, BTA reported.
