Thursday, 14 July 2016
Bulgarian cabinet is expected to adopt the national strategy on cybersecurity – Cybersecurity of Bulgaria 2020.
The issue will be examined as first item in Council of Minister’s agenda for its regular Wednesday sitting, which is scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
The document envisages guaranteeing the security in the cyberspace while observing the fundamental rights and freedoms of the citizens, as groundwork for the economic and social prosperity of the country.
The strategy will be implemented in three stages, which should be completed by 2020 – setting the priorities and elaborating a roadmap, establishment of cyber-sustainable institutions and cyber-secured society, and efficient cooperation on international level with the EU and NATO.
