Bulgaria's trade gap narrows to 131 mln euro in Jan

Bulgaria's trade deficit decreased to some 256.3 million levs ($156.1 million/131.0 million euro) in January, compared to a gap of 312.9 million levs in the same month of 2020, the statistical office said on Friday, citing preliminary data.

In January, exports (FOB) dropped by an annual 6.1% to 4.7 billion levs, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a statement.

Bulgaria's imports (CIF) declined by 6.9% year-on-year to 4.9 billion levs in January.
