Bulgaria's Sopharma reports 15% drop in Jan-Feb sales

Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma said on Thursday that its sales revenue fell by an annual 15% in the January-February period of 2020, due to lower sales on foreign markets.Sopharma's domestic sales decreased 2% year-on-year in the first two months of 2020, while sales abroad dropped 20%, the company said in a bourse filing.In February alone, the company's sales plunged 22%. Exports were 30% lower on the year, while domestic sales edged down 1%.The company did not disclose information about the volume of its sales or amount of sales revenue.As at 12:30 CET on Thursday, Sopharma shares traded at 0.60% higher at 3.38 levs ($1.93/1.73 euro) on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
