Bulgaria's new passenger car registrations rise 15% y/y in Jan - ACEA

New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria grew by 15% on the year to 2,034 in January, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Thursday.

New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell by an annual 6% to 682,596 in the first month of 2022, ACEA said in a press release.

In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, new passenger car registrations rose by 4.4% to 83,971.

In 2021, Bulgaria's new passenger car registrations increased by 9.7% year-on-year to 24,537.
