Bulgaria's new passenger car registrations fall 24% y/y in Jan - ACEA

New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria fell by an annual 24% to 1,769 in January, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Wednesday, citing provisional figures.

New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, declined by 24% on the year to 726,491 in the first month of 2021, ACEA said in a press release.

In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, new passenger car registrations were 27% lower on the year at 80,428.

In 2020, Bulgaria's new passenger car registrations decreased by 37% year-on-year to 22,368.
