Bulgaria's new commercial vehicle registrations down 6.2% in Jan - ACEA

Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Bulgaria fell 6.2% year-on-year to 740 in the first month of 2021, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said on Wednesday.

Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes edged down 0.5% year-on-year to 438 in January, ACEA said in a statement, citing provisional data.

Registrations of new heavy commercial vehicles of over 16 tonnes fell 8.6% to 286 in the month under review.

New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, went down by 7.2% to 141,462 in January. In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 1.5% higher at 16,762, ACEA also said.
