Bulgaria's M3 money supply growth speeds up to 9.3% y/y at end-Sept

Bulgaria's M3, the broadest gauge of money supply, increased 9.3% year-on-year to 108.4 billion levs ($65.7 billion/55.4 billion euro) at the end of September, up from an annual growth rate of 9.1% at the end of August, the central bank said on Friday.

The narrowest measure of money supply, M1, soared 35% on the year to 79 billion levs at the end of September, after a 33.7% annual rise at the end of August, BNB said in a statement.

Net foreign assets increased 15% year-on-year at the end of September, reaching 68 billion levs. Net domestic assets added 2.2% to 63.1 billion levs.
