Bulgaria's registered unemployment rate fell by 0.1 percentage points month-on-month in February, to 6.9%, the country's Employment Agency said on Monday.
The registered unemployment rate rose 0.7 pp year-on-year in February, the agency said in a statement.
A total of 18,230 unemployed people found a job in the second month of 2021, while 24,897 people registered with labour offices in search of employment.
At the end of February, there were 225,281 registered unemployed people, or 4,469 less compared to January and 22,781 more compared to February 2020, the employment agency said.
According to the employment agency, over 255,000 people have found a job with the support of labour offices since the government introduced a state of emergency over the coronavirus pandemic as of March 13, 2020.
There were 13,469 registered job vacancies at labour offices in February, 27.9% of which in the manufacturing sector.
