Hourly labour costs in Bulgaria in the third quarter of 2020 increased by 3.5% on the year, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Monday, citing preliminary data.
Salary costs rose by an annual 3.4% in the July-September period, while other labour costs increased 3.9% year-on-year, the NSI said in a statement.
Hourly labour costs rose the most in services - by 4.3%. The construction segment showed an increase of 3.2%, while hourly labour costs in the industry sector fell 0.6%
In terms of economic activities, the highest growth rate, of 23.9%, was recorded in the real estate sector.
