Bulgaria's gross foreign debt grows 6.4% y/y at end-Nov

Bulgaria's gross foreign debt amounted to 37.5 billion euro ($45.5 billion) at the end of November, up 6.4% on an annual comparison basis, the central bank said on Friday.

The gross foreign debt at the end of November was equivalent to 62.2% of the gross domestic product (GDP) projected for 2020, the Bulgarian National Bank said in a statement.

At the end of November, Bulgaria's external debt was 6.5% higher compared to the end of 2019.


Bulgaria's oil products, electricity production decline in Nov

Bulgaria's output of oil products fell to 395,000 tonnes in November, compared with 592,000 tonnes in the same month of 2019, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Friday.

Electricity production decreased by an annual 3.9% in the eleventh month of 2020, to 3,637 GWh, the NSI said in a statement.

Deliveries of oil products also decreased - to 329,000 tonnes in November, from 335,000 tonnes a year earlier.

Electricity deliveries rose 7.5% year-on-year 3,070 to GWh.
