Bulgaria's gross foreign debt fell by an annual 1% to 34 billion euro ($40 billion) at the end of May, the central bank said on Wednesday. The gross foreign debt at the end of May was equivalent to 59.9% of the projected 2020 gross domestic product (GDP), the Bulgarian National Bank said in a statement. At the end of May, Bulgaria's external debt was 0.3% lower compared to the end of 2019.
