Bulgaria's gross domestic product (GDP) fell by 3.8% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2020, following a 5.2% decrease in the previous quarter, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Tuesday.
On a quarterly comparison basis, Bulgaria's GDP rose 2.1% in the October-December period of 2020, after a 4.3% increase in the third quarter of the year, the NSI said in a flash estimate, citing seasonally adjusted data.
Bulgaria's GDP totalled 32.1 billion levs ($19.9 billion/16.4 billion euro) at current prices in the review period.
