Bulgaria's gross domestic product (GDP) fell by 3.8% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2020, following a 5.2% decrease in the previous quarter, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Tuesday.
On a quarterly comparison basis, Bulgaria's GDP rose 2.2% in the October-December period of 2020, after a 4.3% increase in the third quarter of the year, the NSI said in a statement, citing preliminary seasonally adjusted data.
Bulgaria's GDP totalled 33.2 billion levs ($20.2 billion/17 billion euro) at current prices in the review period.
