Bulgaria's finmin sees 2020 budget deficit at 3%/GDP

Bulgaria's consolidated budget is expected to show a deficit of 3.6 billion levs ($2.3 billion/1.8 billion euro), equivalent to 3% of GDP, in 2020, the finance ministry said.

Consolidated budget revenue is expected to amount to 44.2 billion levs in 2020, 1.5% above the full-year plan, the ministry said in a statement last week.

Consolidated budget expenditure is projected at 47.8 billion levs, 2% below the 2020 plan.

The finance ministry said in a separate statement last week that the country's consolidated budget had a deficit of 213.7 million levs at the end of November, or 0.2% of GDP.

The latest revision of Bulgaria's 2020 budget targeted a deficit of 4.4% of GDP.
