Bulgaria's electricity production rose 20.5% year-on-year in March, reaching 5,144 GWh, while the production of natural gas declined by 33.3%, the statistical office said on Monday.
The country's output of oil products increased to 641,000 tons in the third month of 2022, compared with 490,000 tons in March 2021, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a monthly report.
On an annual comparison basis, electricity deliveries were up by 3.4% to 3,402 GWh in the review month, whereas deliveries of oil products grew to 436,000 tons from 318,000 tons a year earlier.
Natural gas deliveries to Bulgaria dropped 7.2% on the year in March, to 350 million cubic meters (cu m). On a monthly comparison basis, those deliveries rose 10.1% compared to 318 million cu m delivered in February.
