Bulgaria's 4-mo new light commercial vehicle registrations fall 9.2%

Registrations of new light commercial vehicles in Bulgaria fell 9.2% year-on-year to 1,613 in the first four months of 2020, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Tuesday. In April alone, new light commercial vehicle registrations in Bulgaria dropped 30.1% to 255, ACEA said in a statement. Data on registrations of medium and heavy commercial vehicles, buses and coaches in Bulgaria was not available. Registrations of new light commercial vehicles in the EU, excluding Malta, decreased by 35.1% on the year to 385,405 in the January-April period of 2020. In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 27.6% lower at 43,602.
