Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Bulgaria increased by an annual 30.4% to 3,124 in the first four months of 2021, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said on Wednesday.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes went up 29.4% on the year to 2,087 in the January-April period, ACEA said in a statement, citing provisional data.
Registrations of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes rose 41.3% to 1,006 in the review period.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, increased by 42.1% year-on-year to 673,179 in the first four months of 2021. In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 42.6% higher at 84,740.
