Bulgaria's 2-mo new passenger car registrations fall 20.6% y/y - ACEA

New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria decreased by an annual 20.6% to 3,429 in the first two months of 2021, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Wednesday, citing provisional figures.

In February alone, new passenger car registrations in Bulgaria declined 16.5% to 1,660, ACEA said in a press release.

New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell by 21.7% on the year to 1.5 million in the January-February period.

In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, new passenger car registrations were 18.8% lower year-on-year at 171,945.
