Bulgaria's current account was in deficit of 477.3 million euro ($543.8 million) in the eleven months through November 2021, compared to a deficit of 7.6 million euro in the same period of 2020, the central bank said on Tuesday.
The current account deficit in the January-November period was equivalent to 0.7% of the gross domestic product (GDP) projected for 2021, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) said in a statement.
The deficit in the comparable period in 2020 was equivalent to 0.01% of that year's GDP.

Bulgaria's annual inflation speeds up to 7.8% in Dec
Bulgaria's consumer prices rose by 7.8% year-on-year in December following an annual increase of 7.3% in November, the statistical office said on Tuesday.
The average annual inflation in 2021 was 3.3%, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a monthly inflation report.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices added 0.9% in December after rising by 1.4% in the previous month.
