Bulgarian Water Utility Seeks to Buy 58,000 MWh Electricity

Bulgarian water utility Vodosnabdyavane i Kanalizatsiya plans to buy electricity under a contract worth an estimated 5.0 million levs, a notice in the EU's procurement journal indicated.
The 12-contract envisages the purchase of some 58,000 megawatt hours of electricity for the company's unit located in the northeastern city of Dobrich, the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed. The contract's indicative value does not include value added tax.
Bids must be submitted by January 6.
