Bulgarian water utility restarts 5.8 mln euro Karnobat WWTP construction tender

Bulgarian state-owned water utility company ViK Burgas said on Monday that it has relaunched a tender for an 11.4 million levs ($6.6 million/5.8 million euro) contract for the design and construction of a waste water treatment plant (WWTP) for the town of Karnobat.

ViK Burgas intends to finance the contract via EU funding under operational programme Environment 2014-2020, it said in a tender notice.

The deadline for submitting offers is October 29.

Bids will be ranked based on price, with 60% weight, and technical criteria.

The initial tender, launched in July, was cancelled on August 28 due to errors in the tender documentation.
