Bulgarian Tie-up Wins 9.7 Mln Euro Deal To Build Wastewater Treatment Plant

Bulgarian consortium led by Ponsstrojinjenering EAD won a 9.7 million euro ($13.3 million) contract to build a waste water treatment plant in Macedonian central city of Prilep, a notice in the European Union’s procurement journal indicated. A partner in the consortium is Bulgarian company Eco-Project 2000 OOD, the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) said.
A total of nine bids were received in the tender, TED said, without providing details. The contracting authority is Macedonian finance ministry.
