Bulgarian Stock Market to Enter IT Companies' Radar in 2016

The Bulgarian stock market is likely to attract the interest of IT companies seeking funding for the development of new products in 2016, the bourse's chief executive officer said.
"I expect strong interest on the part of the IT sector in Bulgaria, which has been posting robust growth and will need to move from outsourcing operations to own products, for which it may seek financing through the capital markets," Ivan Takev said in a recent interview with SeeNews.
According to data of the Bulgarian Association of Software Companies, the IT sector is estimated to generate some 2% of the country's GDP in 2015, after four consecutive years of double-digit growth.
