The Bulgarian Stock Exchange BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, gained 0.36% on Monday, closing at an all-time high of 136.83 points.
The BGREIT set its previous peak in March.
The index was supported by its two blue-chip members - Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT and Advance Terrafund REIT, which posted gains of 1.22% and 0.57%, respectively, on Monday.
However, the two REITs failed to lead the 15-member blue-chip SOFIX index to green territory on Monday. The SOFIX ended 0.20% lower at 428.97 points, largely hurt by a 3.5% drop in the share price of lender First Investment Bank (Fibank).
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, decreased 0.20% to 97.50 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, edged down 0.09% to 484.12 points.
Total daily regulated market trading turnover amounted to 910,000 levs ($550,000/470,000 euro).
