Bulgarian Resorts to Start Hiring Seasonal Workers from Abroad

One of the proposals made by the newly established tourism council is to start immediately hiring seasonal workers from abroad in order to improve the quality of service offered in Bulgaria’s summer and winter resorts. 

This was stated by Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova in an interview for private NOVA TV station on Sunday. She repeated figures provided by her earlier this week which showed that nearly two million foreign tourists had visited Bulgaria in the first five months of this year. This represented an increase of 14 % compared to the same period in 2015.
