Bulgarian President Calls on Balkans to Guarantee Stability of Investors

Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev called on the countries from Southeastern Europe to guarantee the stability of investors in the region.
Plevneliev stated this during his meeting with Denis Zvizdic, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the leaders of the two chambers of the Parliament in Sarajevo on Thursday.
Among the other topics of discussion were the opportunities for increasing the economic exchange between Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the development of transport infrastructure in Southeastern Europe.
The Head of State once again reaffirmed Bulgaria's support for the European integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the countries of the Western Balkans and shared the Bulgarian experience on the management of EU funds.
Plevneliev said that the confidence of investors was earned with ensuring the security of their investments.
According to him, the main factor, which guaranteed the stability of the Western Balkans was the opening of the European perspective to all countries of the region.
The Bulgarian President pointed that by attracting companies of strategic importance in one of the countries of Southeastern Europe, the whole region benefited as this led to subsequent opening of tens of production capacities by the related subcontractors.
