Bulgarian PM, Transport Minister to Launch Danube River Information System in Ruse

Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and Transport Minister Ivaylo Moskovski will launch on Thursday the BULRIS river information system monitoring the Bulgarian section of the Danube river.
The cost of the project, which was executed by the Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company, is estimated at 37 million levs, Darik radio informs. The project involved the development of a modern infrastructure and communication environment for providing information on the navigation of the river.
After carrying out tests of sub-systems in northeastern Bulgaria between August and September 2011, a fully developed telecommunications network was established.
