Bulgarian National Assembly will host the 45th meeting of the Economic, Commercial, Technological and Environmental Affairs Committee and of the 46th meeting of the Commission on Legal and Political Affairs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) that will be held in the coastal city of Varna on October 5 and 6, the press service of the Parliament announced.
The two-day forum will be attended by 40 parliamentarians from the PABSEC member states.
Speaker of the Bulgarian Parliament, Tsetska Tsacheva, will open the forum at 10:00 a.m. on October 5.
Head of the delegation of the National Assembly in PABSEC Polina Karastoyanova, chairman of the economic committee of the PABSEC Musa Guliev and chairman of the legal committee of PABSEC Mihail Yemelyanov will deliver addresses to the parliamentarians.
The meeting of the Economic, Commercial, Technological and Environmental Affairs Committee will start with the presentation of a report by Deputy Head of the Bulgarian delegation in the Assembly Pavel Hristov about the introduction of e-government in the countries of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.
It is envisaged that the parliamentarians adopt the report and choose Rapporteur for the meeting of the General Assembly of the organisation.
Election of Chairman and Deputy-Chairman of the Economic, Commercial, Technological and Environmental Affairs Committee and determining the date and place of the next meeting are also on the agenda of the meeting.
