Bulgarian MEP Eva Paunova with the Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB)/European People’s Party (EPP) held a working meeting with representatives of the New York-based Spitzberg Partners corporate advisory and investment firm, the press office of the CEDB party announced.
“Being an EU member states with low taxes and fast developing technological sector Bulgaria has the potential to be attractive investment destination for American companies.
Today’s meeting can set the groundwork of a good partnership in this direction with the Spitzberg Partners and their corporate clients,” Ms Paunova said during the meeting, which was held within her two-day working visit to New York.
Spitzberg Partners plans to expand its portfolio with expertise for Southeast Europe as an investment destination for its corporate clients.
The New York-based company deals with development and presentation of business strategies, investment advices, market surveys, and political and economic analyses.
Other issues discussed at the meeting were the technologies and digitalisation, the financing of start-up companies, the transfer and protection of data under the conditions of transatlantic business.
