Bulgarian trade union Podkrepa will sign a cooperation agreement with counterpart union structures in Greece, aiming to protect the interests of large group of workers.
Podkrepa has already signed such contracts with trade unions in Germany, Cyprus and the U.K. and is to do so with peers in Spain, Italy, Austria and France, the state-run Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) reported on Wednesday.
In the autumn Podkrepa, in partnership with foreign trade unions, will launch an information campaign for people considering work abroad, explaining the social security system, retirement terms, unemployment benefits and other specific regulations in the respective country.
