Bulgarian Exports to EU 3.2% up in 2014 y/y

In 2014 Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 3.2% compared to 2013 and amounted to 27.0 billion levs. Main trade partners of Bulgaria were Germany, Italy, Romania, Greece, France and Belgium which accounted for 70.6% of the exports to the EU Member States, a report of the National Statistical Institute (NSI) released on Thursday showed.
In December 2014 the exports to the EU increased by 18.7% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and amounted to 2.1 billion levs.
Bulgarian imports from the EU in 2014 increased by 4.5% compared to 2013 and added up to 31.5 billion levs at CIF prices. The largest amounts were reported for the goods imported from Germany, Italy, Romania, Greece and Spain.
In December 2014 the Bulgarian imports from the EU Member States increased by 13.3% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and amounted to 2.8 billion levs at CIF prices.
