The assets of Bulgarian equity investment funds grew 25.7% on the year to 544 million levs ($327 million/278.1 million euro) at the end of March, central bank data showed on Monday.At the end of March, equity funds held the largest share, of 40.4%, of the assets of resident investment funds, up from 38.9% a year earlier, according to data posted on the website of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB).Assets of mixed funds increased 27.9% to 279.5 million levs and those of bond-focused funds added 13.2% to 520.9 million levs.Total assets managed by resident investment funds in Bulgaria totalled 1.35 billion levs at the end of March, up 20.9% year-on-year.Assets managed by non-resident investment funds rose to 2.3 billion levs at end of March, compared to 1.92 billion levs at the end of the same month of 2017.(1 euro=1.95583 levs)
