State-owned Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) said on Thursday that it is planning to extend its interest-free loan guarantee programme for individuals who are temporarily out of a job due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The proposed changes to the programme aim to provide additional financial resources in view of the epidemic situation in the country, the BDB said in a statement.
The BDB guarantees loans of up to 6,900 levs ($4,300/3,500 euro) with a term of between six months and five years, and a maximum grace period of two years.
