Bulgaria with the second biggest at-risk-of-poverty rate among children with low-educated parents: Eurostat

According to a survey conducted by Eurostat, the share of children at risk of poverty who had parents with a low level of education is highest in Romania (37.4%) and Bulgaria (33.7%), BGNES reported.

Descendants of low educated parents are more likely to live in poverty when they reach adulthood, data further indicate.
