Bulgaria will submit its Recovery and Resilience Plan to the European Commission this month, Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Pekanov announced at the 15th Annual Business Meeting with the Government.
The submission of the Recovery and Resilience Plan will be followed by at least two months of negotiations, during which the issues related to judicial reform and the decarbonisation plan must be resolved, added Deputy Premier Pekanov. By the end of the week, the government will set an indicative date for closing the coal-fired power plants, caretaker Premier Stefan Yanev announced at the forum, "Dnevnik" reported.
