Bulgaria to Launch Tenders for 64-km section of Struma Motorway in 2015

Bulgaria will open tender procedures for the construction of a 64-km section of Struma motorway, linking the capital Sofia with the Greek border, in 2015, transport minister Danail Papazov said, as quoted by BTA.
The construction works on the section between the towns of Blagoevgrad and Sandanski through the Kresna gorge are estimated to cost 750 million euro ($1.0 billion), Papazov added.
The construction design phase will be completed by the end of 2014.
